Is there a policy that is designed for condominium unit owners?
Yes, we have a policy specifically designed for this.
How much should I insure my property for?
In most cases there is an association policy that insures
the property up to the studs or bare walls. In that case we suggest
insuring for at least 30% of the units value, plus the value of
furnishings like appliances, furniture, electronics, and clothes.
The minimum for personal property is $25,000. If you are not sure

Can you insure a unit rented to others?
Yes, we can do that. It is a good idea to require the
tenant to also have their own policy for the tenant’s personal
property and liability.
What is the cost for this type of policy?
The premium can vary depending on rating factors. As an
example $25,000 in personal property plus liability coverage could
be around $20/month in the Houston area. Non-costal area rates tend

What are the payment choices?
For most policies we offer full pay, 2 pay, and monthly.
If you select monthly there is an option for EFT automatic payments.

Anywhere in the state of Texas.
What are my coverage options?
You can insure your personal property for $25,000 or greater.
$25,000 is standard for liability coverage and that can be increased
to $500,000. If the condo is your primary residence there is an
option to upgrade to “replacement cost valuation”. Identity theft
coverage is available. Another suggested option is loss assessment
coverage.
What types of discounts are available?
Available discounts include over 50 years old discount,
auto/home, non-smoker, and a protective devices discount if you have
a fire/smoke alarm.
