COVERAGE INFORMATION
A Houston condo insurance policy has coverage’s that are intended for the
special needs of a condo owner. This type of policy includes the
following coverage’s:

Damage caused by
lightning or fire

Accidental and sudden
smoke damage

Hurricane, windstorm,
and hail damage

Explosion and/or
building collapse

Theft (if owner
occupied)

Plumbing freezing,
leakage, overflow (including if from a household appliance

Damage caused by a
vehicle or aircraft
To select the amount of
personal property coverage you should consider coverage provided by
your condominium association. If you have a good association policy
it is suggested to insure personal property to 30% of the condo
value or greater, plus the value of your contents.
Personal Liability Coverage
This coverage pays for bodily injury to other people or damage
to their property that you are obligated to pay, up to your policy
limit.
Personal property is covered anywhere in the world. (Limited to 10%
of the personal property limit and policy terms)

Property - $5,000 coverage is about $2 per month

$2,000 additional coverage for about $1 per month – Worth the
cost if you have expensive computers.
